When the Wheel Turns in Your Favor
Share
There was a time when we tried to control everything. How things would end, when they would begin, how fast they should move. We held on tight, thinking it would keep life steady. But the tighter we held, the faster things slipped away. Eventually we learned to move with what turns instead of fighting it. It felt like standing still while the world kept moving and realizing the movement was never the problem. A mother watches her teenager pack a suitcase for the first time. Part of her wants to stop them, to slow what is coming. Instead, she smiles and folds one last shirt neatly on top. The love does not shrink when she lets go. It grows. That is when she understands that moving with what turns is how love stays whole.
Change no longer feels like a disruption. It feels like direction. The wheel moves to guide us, not to break us, and every turn brings us closer to what fits. We used to fear change, thinking it came to take apart what we had built. But every ending carried instructions we just couldn’t see yet. The same mother sits in the quiet house that once overflowed with noise. For a moment, she feels the ache of space. Then she notices the stillness and the peace inside it. She begins to paint again, something she hasn’t done in years. The emptiness wasn’t loss. It was space for something new to begin.
Now we trust that every shift carries us closer to alignment. Life keeps turning, and the turning keeps teaching us. What leaves makes room for what belongs. What pauses invites rest. What begins again reminds us that we were never being broken, only reshaped. The mother receives a photo from her child, smiling in a new place, cooking on their own. She laughs softly, feeling the same warmth she felt years ago when tying their shoes. Nothing has been lost. Everything has changed form. The wheel keeps moving, and we move with it, grounded and free.
